Finding Peace in Difficult Situations

What if you could feel more peaceful about something that is troubling you and clearer about what could make it better?

Course One begins September 29, 2026.

Maybe it is a conversation you keep replaying.

Or an experience from the past that still affects how you feel today.

Course One gives you a gentle, supported way to begin finding greater peace and clarity in situations like these and to learn how to use Finding Peace for yourself.

About This Course

Every difficult situation contains the seeds of a better life for you. We simply need to uncover them.

Difficult emotions can help us understand what matters to us and what we would rather experience instead.

As that becomes clearer, new possibilities for greater peace and meaningful change can begin to emerge.

Learn Finding Peace for yourself.

Course One takes you step by step through Finding Peace and gives you opportunities to use what you are learning with real situations from your own life.

Each part is taught and demonstrated before you practice it yourself, with Glenda’s guidance and support along the way.

The aim is for Finding Peace to become something you feel increasingly comfortable and confident using for yourself.

If you’re not on the call when I’m providing appreciation and suggestions on the work that participants have done on that session’s topic, I’ll send you a private video recording with appreciations and suggestions specifically for your situation.

Note: Both appreciations and suggestions are made in a way that’s designed to maintain each person’s privacy and confidentiality, while supporting the learning of the whole group by sharing general principles that can be applied any time we’re seeking peace.

Finding Peace becomes more natural with practice.

Understanding Finding Peace is the beginning. Becoming comfortable using it when something difficult happens takes practice.

That’s why Course One gives you opportunities to try what you are learning with real situations from your own life, with Glenda’s guidance, coaching, and support.

You don’t need to know how to do this already. You are here to learn.

With practice, Finding Peace becomes increasingly familiar and natural to use in everyday life.

Course One is the beginning of your Finding Peace journey.

Course One focuses on learning to use Finding Peace for yourself.

Course Two builds on that foundation as you explore how to create meaningful and lasting change.

Course Three focuses on learning how to thoughtfully support others to find greater peace and clarity.

Together, the three courses create a progressive learning journey, with each one building on what came before.

Glenda Mattinson

Meet Your Guide: Glenda Mattinson

For more than 20 years, Glenda Mattinson has been helping people find greater peace in difficult situations and discover ways forward that feel better in their lives and relationships.

Throughout Course One, Glenda will guide you step by step through Finding Peace, using teaching, demonstrations, guided practice, coaching, and support.

Her approach is warm, thoughtful, and practical, creating space for you to learn at your own pace and become increasingly comfortable using what you are learning.

You can begin with one situation.

It doesn’t need to be the biggest situation in your life. It might be a conversation you keep thinking about. A frustration. Something someone said or did. Something you did (or didn’t do) that you wish had gone differently. Or simply something you would like to feel more peaceful about.

That one situation can become a place to begin learning Finding Peace for yourself.

Every difficult situation contains the seeds of a better life for you. Let’s uncover them together.
